The Town of Strong has been selected for an experiment in community building. For the next two years, we will have access to professional support staff, grant writing expertise, and donated consulting services from a network of Maine’s most experienced educators, economic and business development experts, community development professionals, and staff of federal and state agencies.

Right now there are four ways to get involved:

1. Attend regular committee meetings 6-8 p.m., the first Wednesday of every month at the Town Office.
2. Respond to the Community Questionnaire
3. Volunteer to serve on a project subcommittee (subcommittee topics will be chosen soon)
4. Sign up to receive project updates via email

What we make of this opportunity is up to us.
